Two properties in East Boston will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on Jan. 24, per order of the state's Division of Capital Asset Management. The bigger lot is 20 Addison Street -- 1.4 acres along the Chelsea Creek; the smaller is less than a quarter acre and it's at 600 Chelsea Street.
Property tours are scheduled for Thursday. Individuals may bid online. For more information

Isn't the one on Addison the old water pumping station?
It looks like it is one property in East Boston with 2 addresses: the buildings next to the Chelsea Bridge. There was interest in the past in this building by a group wanting a steam engine museum.
A steam engine museum would be cool.
