***An East Boston cat has been called for jury duty, according to a story on the WHDH web site. Sal Esposito is expected to report to Suffolk Superior Court on March 23. I wouldn't expect Sal to get on a case, however, as he has exhibited bigotry toward mice. (Photo of Sal the cat from WHDH.com.)***Nail salons in Boston will now be inspected by the city, mostly to protect the young women who often work there from the dangerous chemicals on hand.
***There will be a meeting next Wednesday on the impending redesign of Eastie's Central Square. The meeting runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be at the East Boston Social Center.
