"I will not be intimidated"

Benazir Bhutto was a much more courageous person than I'll ever be. The former prime minister of Pakistan returned to that country knowing there would be attempts on her life, yet she went anyway. In a Boston Globe op-ed piece in October, she wrote:
I will not be intimidated. I will step out on the tarmac in Karachi not to complete a journey, but to begin one. Despite threats of death, I will not acquiesce to tyranny, but rather lead the fight against it.
Those violently opposed to her vision of a modern, democratic Pakistan failed in their attempt to kill her when she first returned, but others succeeded today.

This is terribly sad and a real setback for Pakistan. Benazir Bhutto was a wonderful woman and seemed to represent the best way forward for her people.

Although its a very sad thing that has happened ,a realist looks at it for what it is.
These countries have been fighting themselves for thousands of years, and will never stop.

No one is safe ,and never will be. They teach hatred ,in thier schools from grade one ,mostly against Americans,YET we continue to send BILLIONS of dollars in aide ,while our own citizens starve ,and MILLIONS of children have no health care.

I say if we were not poking our noses all over the place A.K.A.THE WORLD POLICE ,Just maybe the amount of violence would at least calm down a little.

We have been a bully nation for a long time ,LETS NOT FORGET PEOPLE WE TRAINED BIN LADEN,AND HIS ARMY.

STOP ALL FORIGN AID,AND HELP OUR OWN CITIZENS.
