Overnight assault

The city's police blog outlines a disturbing attack on an off-duty firefighter overnight in East Boston. The victim, who is not identified, suffered "non-life threatening injuries" after being harassed by "a group of Hispanic males" when he went to Chivas Restaurant at the corner of Saratoga and Prescott streets and was then attacked in front of the firehouse at 360 Saratoga Street.
